Have some friends who live there - it’s quite nice and they were able to buy very nice places for 800k-1m. But no idea about schools / nurseries for kids etc.
I used to live in WH and still have a flat there. Great place and lots to do around the area (restaurants etc) definitely an up and coming area and great to invest in. Commuter links superb between overground, national rail, underground (WH and Finchley Road)
If looking you will see south Hampstead borders onto WH, look there, broadhurst gardens, greencroft gardens, (look for gardens in the road name) out flat is there and we have access to communal green area (easy to see from satellite view on google maps)
Also when looking try and stay on the Finchley Road side of west end lane vs Kilburn side although not really a major factor.
Underground is at the bottom of west end lane so prices of properties tend to be slightly more than those right at the top of west end lane.
DM me if you want to chat further.
