Time off requests for holidays usually take place roughly end of October through beginning of November. They use seniority first but balanced with if you had that day off last year. For example, if you had New Years off last year, you might not get it again this year even if you have seniority. After that, PTO is on a first come, first serve basis.
I put my request in October 2023 so there would not be any issues related to my time off in 2024
Basic on longevity
If the employer has not a firm clinic address, then all acupuncture treatment dangerous accidents responsibilities will all press on the acupuncturist employee’s body own!!!
And where is the employer? If he hide in some where who can not find him!!!
It's always based on first come first served for us
I really don't mind so if no one is available I will work even it's it's not my day
Rising Star
First requested for the most part. I like this way better than doing it by seniority. Those just starting may want or have a more valid reason for wanting Christmas off....if they plan ahead and submit that request first power to them.
We do open the requests at a specific time..so someone cannot ask for next Christmas off a year ahead.
Thank you very much!!! @director.
It would go by seniority, but it's never really a major issue on our team. We are closed for some of the usual days around the holidays, and not that many people take more time off. So if people want to take time off, it's never really problematic. But if it was a conflict, seniority would win out.
black out period. No one can request time off to be with their families.
