How long does AstraZeneca generally take to update the status of the HR discussion?

I had 2 rounds of technical interview and a HR discussion but AstraZeneca have not got back to me for 7 business days now.

There is no response for the email that I sent after 5 business days.

The person who referred me checked the HR for the update after 2 business days. At that time the HR had said - "We still have a few interviews lined up before we can finalize anything".

What does this mean? Kindly help!

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
