I have an approved I140 for audit position and I transferred from audit to advisory within the firm. Now my PD just became current. the firm attorney think I am still able to submit 485 application due to similar job duties and same OES code. I noticed the SOC code did change between my two H1b filings. I asked the attorney but they don’t think it matters as similar job duties and SOC codes are linked. Should I worry about it? I still work in the same entity and location, but title was changed.

Deloitte onboarding E-mail says , it background verification is not complete by target start date , they can postpone the date last minute.
I have 14th march as a start date and I don’t know my background verification status.
I emailed BIONBoarding but no response.
How am I supposed to give notice to my current employer without knowing BGC status ?
Please advise if someone faced this situation.

I am working as a JL6 employee (8 years of IT exp) in Infy with an approx CTC of 17.5 lpa (including allowances). I have a got a verbal offer from TCS for Rapid Automation Lead (C3A band) in the CoE team with 50% hike on my current CTC. Though I have asked for 60% hike, HR said she will get back to me on my ask. Now, there is a possibility that Infy might initiate UK visa for me in the upcoming months which would be ICT visa only. Just wanted your thoughts on TCS' work culture etc.
