Anyone work or has worked at MGO?
Bain & Company Fishes, I wonder if you have suggestion on office selection, I am finishing my dual degree(advanced degree and applying for post MBA level job) next year and now applying for consulting roles in the states. I have never been to the states and will only arrive on campus in Fall. I am keen on Seattle and SF offices but I have no affiliation or experience there. Any suggestions? I did the program through UCLA (the instructors used a mix of Kaplan material with their own resources), their accelerated program took 9 months and helped structure studying as I was working Full Time as well. Classes were twice a week (3-6pm PST, so if you’re east coast or central, this may not coincide with your work schedule). they are not mandatory either, but helpful with complex concepts.
I used Danko for the online test prep. it was pretty brutal, 8 hours for four days (it was split between 2 weeks) & you have access to recordings and his material was very straightforward.
Passed first time!
I used Dalton for everything (no live or in-person classes) and I passed the first time. I'm not familiar with Danko at all, so no imput there.
How long did it take you?
He has an inclass option, but also a self stuffy that has his 3-4 day boot camp at the end..I highly recommend the bootcamp. I took it last year and he did a fantastic job
Ah I see the confusion. I did the CFFP classes, but just did them on my own. The review class for Danka is what most people do that is the most helpful thing. Getting through the modules is brutal, but if you're fine with doing it yourself than CFFP was decent. Danka def on the review class
I think you got your answer. But if not:
- fast track is the education component
- 4 day class is the exam prep
I’m doing Dalton for education (it’s cheaper and meets the reimbursement limits at EJ) but I’ll do Danko for exam prep (live in Philly so I can visit some friends too)
Not going to lie. It’s A LOT. Coursework has been hard to keep up with working full time. I’ve already planned for reduced hours during exam prep.
Check out Bryant University for the prep - you can do self study and classes are recorded. The Danko 4 day prep is included. It was a good price and I passed on the first try.
I used Danko, and did the whole program. No regrets, expensive but worth it.
