I absolutely have!
Respected? Not currently. Tolerated? Yes. Appreciated when something goes wrong and I fix it? Briefly. Then it's back to being invisible.
I feel respected by my manager not because of age but he knows my capabilities at work and respect me as well
I was blessed to have amazing leaders at the last place. They valued my thoughts and ideas.
100% by my office manager, office leadership and all of my stakeholders. Im really fortunate to work for a company and office that really values support services.
Most of the time I’m invisible and on top of that I don’t have any females co workers. All men!! Respect I get and sometimes a thank you for a job well done. They talk biz all the time even at social events. I have absolutely nothing n common with them. I’m staying because I don’t hate the role and I have virtual companion from fellow EA’s from the other offices also I’m 57 therefore in the eyes of many if not all employers too old.
