Around $25,000 on summer vacation, another $10,000 for concerts/ cruises and maybe another $10,000 on flights to visit family and friends- about $45,000 for a family of 2 adults and 3 kids.
Other than HHI, please also tell us what kind of inheritance did you get or will be getting? 🥹

$10k or less. 2 kids (under 5). That’ll likely double as my kids become decent to travel with. They don’t sleep well not in their own bed so I’m not willing to do big trips yet.
Depends on the year. 2 adults, 3 kids (teen/tween/kid). A couple summer ago, we did a 10 day roadtrip that was maybe $6K all-in. But the year before that, we did a 9 day Disney trip was closer to $10K. Last summer, my parents rented a beach house for all of us, so that was super cheap (for us). But this summer, we're spending around $20K for a 10-day Caribbean cruise + beach vacation. I guess I'd say average about $10K/year. I do always make sure I know where the money is coming from though. Save first.

We don't. We visit my brother-in-law who lives about 3 hours away near a lake in the summer. We just buy food for the trip. An actual vacation hasn't happened since before kids.

Around $20k on the average. Some years much more (last year we took our 2 kids on a lovely Greek cruise, dropped probably $35k between that and the other week long cruise I take with my oldest each year), some years much less (this year will be a much less year, likely around $10k.)
