Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

1 week for every year you’ve worked there
^ yup, this is pretty normal for non-execs.
FyI in case helpful: I was able to negotiate my severance as part of my employment contract. I was starting a new gig where I had no history, and the account was rocky, so I was worried. I got them to agree 3 months severance in exchange for me agreeing to a 6 week notice if I quit (vs the normal two weeks)
I did this as well, at director level.
Get a lawyer for maximum payout.
Case by case basis. Legally, they don’t have to give you any so don’t waste your time and dime hiring a lawyer.
File for unemployment
I've gotten both nothing and 2 months + bonus (laid off in February, bonuses paid out in March, had been there 1 1/2 years).
I was gonna say one paycheck (2 weeks) for every year youve worked there, I thought that was more common—but looks like its one week now...
And for sure file for unemployment on DAY ONE because theres a two week waiting period before you get your first check.
Usually two weeks for every year worked. Some F100 companies offer a minimum of 6 weeks, as long as you’ve been there at least 2 years.
If you’ve been there past 5 years, ask for 4 months and you may get 3.
Really depends on the agency and how financially hurt they are. I’ve heard 2 weeks. I’ve heard 1 week for every year of service. I’ve heard it all and there was little rhyme or reason to it. I’ve heard you can negotiate. I’ve heard you can’t.
I got two weeks after getting laid off from my job I worked at for 10 months. They let me go in the beginning of the month and said theyd pay me through the end of it
I got two weeks plus an additional week for every year I was there ... ended up with 5 weeks total
Whatever it is that they tell you you’re getting, negotiate. If they won’t wiggle on weeks, get them with insurance. Look at it the same way you did when you got your offer and see how creative you can get. What’s the worst that can happen, they let you go?
I got two months of severance as a mid-level creative. I found that extremely odd. Especially since I was at that agency for less than six weeks.
