Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

I can no longer imagine working in the office, so it's a non-negotiable requirement for me now. However, to leave my job, I would need to work from home and earn $20,000 more per year.
If I quit my job, then what am I doing fully remote? Living in the wilderness?
To quit my in person job for a fully remote job? I’d be willing to take a $15,000 pay deduction. Because that’s probably what I spend on gas and auto maintenance to get to work.
Don't you mean how much would you sacrifice to quit your in office job for a fully remote position? Assuming so, I'd accept up to a 15% paycut. I spend way too much time and money on commuting currently.
What do you mean? Would I still have a job if I went fully remote?
Currently remote and would leave for a $20k bump
I like coming to the office actually. I like the hybrid work I have now
