Super strict
For front office IB, 5 days a week is the norm. For front office AWM, 3 days a week is the norm but also depends on your manager. Fully remote is not an option because the firm tracks who swipes into the office and who doesn’t. So 3 days minimum I’d say.
oh, that is a hard call to make. I know JP has gone back and forth on their wfh policy. It is difficult to say what the next change will bring
It will not up to 5. The 3 days in, 2 days remote is pretty set and I would consider it a term of employment. They recruited me for a VP role as well and said I wouldn’t ever have to come in more than those 3 days, but sometimes can come in less for things like a doctors appointment or family conflict… they did just switch to 2 days in until Labor Day. There was a LOT of pushback on coming in even 3 days, and I think they are going to be hard pressed to go back on it.
It also really depends on the manager. My manager doesn’t care and works in an entirely different state, but obviously tone from the top is to come in, so it’s on your honor that you will.
HRs at JP are misers and they negotiate hard..return the favor and say sorry cannot come and cite a genuine reason..then see what they say
It’s two days a week for my team. I don’t think it will ever go back to 5 days, but no one really knows.
