Had a friend who had an arrest for public intoxication, new hire IBD, wasn't an issue

If it's anything fraud or theft related, securities or not, you should worry. Even a shoplifting charge from years ago.

Agreed with Citi1. Anything which may reflect dishonesty, I would expect to be a problem. Other than that, probably not

like

If you had some kind of pretrial intervention program and had the charges dropped, then you should be fine.

No fraud or theft, pretty similar to first commenter's issue

Wouldn't sweat it in that case. Something like that wouldn't stop me hiring you.

No biggie

I had issues when I was recruiting because I got caught for jaywalking

Jaywalking. That's one ridiculous law.

I am beyond stuck in my first 1.5 years of my career.

I was over promised opportunities at my first gig and then Covid hit. Leading me to have no portfolio worthy pieces from this 💩 agency with nothing great in sight. (place hasn’t won a pitch in my entire time here + lost clients)

I’m juggling re-vamping my site and a side project to hopefully make my book more robust.

With no kind of leadership or mentor, I’m just figuring out how to dig myself out of this hole. Any advice for this chump?

Hi everyone,
I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.

My partner of 5 years ended our relationship last night. I’m shattered and feel absolutely sick, and I know the healing isn’t going to be easy. We were on the verge of an engagement and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with him.

I don’t know how to approach work during this time. I think I can get by, but I’m definitely not 100%. Should I talk to my boss about it? My team is close-knit and comfortable around each other, but I don’t know if it’s “appropriate.” What would you do?

This question is quite broad and subjective but would love to hear some thoughts. For a couple with family income of about 60 LPA in India, is it wise to move to Canada/UK via the PR route? I have seen no matter how much experience you have, it's usually about building up from scratch.

Got promoted after submitting my application for R2.

Emailed the schools and some have replied saying I should update my resume and send to them.

I'm a little at a loss of what to add to my resume. As most of you know in consulting we don't get a bunch of new responsibilities the second we get promoted to the next level (at least before getting promoted to M).

I'm thinking I will add a section for Senior Consultant and add what my responsibilities reasonably would be in 3-6 months (cont)
