Why you care
Feeling like it's another "kiasu" mentality. Some people tend to keep comparing themselves with others so that they can build this character for themselves which they are the world's biggest victim.
If you know or heard what exactly she's talking behind your back, have you ever thought about directly asking her to go have a chat about it?
Direct? Yes. Confrontational? Yes.
But sometimes it's required so that certain people don't feel like others are easy to bully/worse off than themselves because they see themselves in a low place and/or hold themselves in low regards.
I mean, I understand. But hor, the way she victimize herself, is really the new low.
And it's not the 1st time she show just (for a better word) guailan attitude. I have colleague that was very close with her, and he resign, she cut of connection with him immediately! And later we found out the reason she cut ties with him was because "he didn't tell me he resign" that kind of nonsense childish energy around her.
But at the same time, people are "surrounding" her because she's better with talking, but i'm only good at working. So it's like she's using words, to "brain wash" my group of colleagues.
And what's worst, my company organize a cross department gathering, and she was all "hehe haha" at the beginning of the gathering, and once other people starts coming to me and talking to me, and me winning a prize. HER FACE TURN CHARCOAL BLACK. I didn't even stepped her tail loh. She even didn't grab the food or stay near our own department, just emo standing at a corner, for others to pity her.
I really really very sian of seeing such irritating act.
