Ok well your leave is protected unless it’s a company with less than 50 employees that is exempt from having to offer FMLA.
However, I will say that if they didn’t know that you were pregnant when they hired you they’re probably bitter about it. If they did know then 🔩 that d bag.
EITHER WAY - go to your manager to have that discussion about the concern for your job safety based on that comment and DOCUMENT IT! That way if anything happens you have some proof to provide attorneys. I would also have that discussion with your manager if what the game plan is for your duties while your out and what the plan will be to integrate you back in. Document THAT as well so that you have addtl documented proof that both parties have every intention if you returning and what that looks like.
