What’s the average salary for Manager role at D S&O?
Comparing 2 offers- from a boutique and D. Salary is not very different hence the confusion.

Currently working as a consultant in the US for a software company. Moving to UK next year for personal reasons and my company is sponsoring my visa and has offered me a Product Manager position (per my request to make a career change). Currently at 155 TC in the US and not sure how negotiate UK salary for a new position.

How does one intelligently negotiate salary? There was a post on here a while ago speaking about compensation packages and stock options to bring the salary up to market rate. Can someone please elaborate on this and provide examples.Thanks

How do you turn down a golden offer from a very good company after learning that the entire team resigned because of the manager and company preferred to keep that manager than the team? Manager is toxic and micromanage things.
PS. Current company is great but the compensation difference is huge. They are willing to meet at the halfway point now and the rest in mid year. And have this in writing. My current manager is awesome.

VP role @ small Fintech startup. $170k base + 15k singing bonus (in application I indicated $200k but could go down to $185 depending on total package, so that's what they're trying to do.) Equity stake after 6 months, no other bonus structure yet but promise to reevaluate comp to get to higher $ after 1 yr based on personal & company performance. Unlimited PTO, ok benefits... I really like the position but was hoping for something closer to my asking range. Any room for negotiation?

I initially thought TC was 199k, but it’s actually 180k. Should I say something like “I was expecting 220. Is there anything you can do like a sign on bonus/raise base a bit to help get to 220?” To see if they can bump it up a bit?

I just don’t want to negotiate and get the offer rescinded.
