I accepted a verbal job offer two and a half weeks ago and the company has yet to send over a written. The recruiters and team managers are telling me the CEO has to sign off on all new hires and my future manager can't get onto his schedule. This is a global financial markets company with more than 10,000 employees.

I've never worked in a company this big. Is it normal to have to wait so long between a verbal and a written agreement? This is anxiety-inducing and straining my finances.
