I am ~14 weeks into orientation in
ICU. Not ready to be by myself, but lately I want to call off every shift. I'm afraid of being fired during probationary for any mistakes. My preceptors say l'm doing well, but I feel super slow and stupid. I understand I'm in critical care, but it's exhausting to be under constant surveillance/critiquing for so long. I feel burnt out and I feel like I don't have a right to be. I just started. Maybe I'm not meant for this? Can't leave bedside with <2 years

Seems companies are not learning, even after the great resignations.. the big names... Like TCS, ibm.. are not doing any changes to their work culture and ethics to improve WLB.

I have an offer accepted from Elevance 125k (Anthem) and w a good team and seems that WLB would be ok. Also, Amazon hiring manager wants to interview me for a job. Is just a hiring manager int. so obvi nothing guaranteed. Salary if offered will be more than 150k. My question is should I accept the interview and see where it goes? Is it really worth it to proceed with a company like Amazon for 25k+. I live in CA so $ is imp but I do have a toddler so WLB is also imp. Both role are Sr. MGR.

I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. Not sure what to think of their weird pay scale. 🙂

I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.
