I am 58 years old and have 30 plus years of experience in the industry. I have been without work for 6 months and have been desperately searching for work in the Birmingham, AL area. I am beginning to wonder if experience is worth anything anymore or I am being discriminated against because of my age. I am an honest, reliable, hard worker and have at least 10/12 good years left to offer a company willing to give me a chance.

Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does? An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations. Zero credit or thank you for the work I did.

First time Dad and my 15 month old keeps running up the stairs at my in-laws place and they keep encouraging it. Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.
