I am a fresh graduate, currently hunting for a job. It has been 3 months since my graduation, and I am very worried about my future career now since there has been no interview or any reaction from all the companies I applied to. I keep applying for jobs that are related to my field of study, but I don't know when this will end. I'm just a 23-year-old young man trying to enter this new phase of life. I just wish for one job that can be a my good start to gains experience and skills. Any advice?

Job hunting can be so tough, especially when you’re eager to get started. My advice would be to keep networking, reach out to alumni or attend career fairs to make connections. Sometimes it’s not just about applying, but about being in the right place at the right time. You're on the right track, just keep meeting people and building your network up!

Thankyou for your words, im really appreciate it 😊

Cast a wide net, see if the college has any networking alumni that can possibly point you in a good direction. Also internships can be a good way to go if you can find any. Anything to get started for some experience and move along from there. Don’t get tunnel vision on a handful of titles or companies.

I had internship as business analyst last year, but this company seems full of employees then I decide to start my career on others company. Thank you for your comment 😊👋

Are you targeting the right kind/level of job? Bigger companies tend to have intern-level positions at modest pay. You won't make any significant money for a year, but you will get that first year of real experience.

Yes, I understood that it is undoubtedly hard for a freshman without experience to get any job offer. So, you suggest I go to my kind of protege program? I don't want to waste my time as an intern with an unknown future as an intern and low paid. I just want to start at an entry level or junior level with a good salary. From there, I also will gain experience instead of as intern right?

Hey send me your resume, what type of career/ work are you interested in?

Biz owners/entrepreneurs: Any tips on how to answer questions where the interviewer would want to know why I’d want to work for a company if I have my own. I’d want to reassure them that I have no intentions of leaving their company for mine or that there wouldn’t be competing priorities between us. I have a small photography biz. When this came up in an interview how did you address it? On my resume it does show that I’m currently a photographer w/ my own biz. I was selected for an interview.

Is there such things as FP&A positions in Big 4? If so, are there better times to make the change than others (I.e. at senior vs manager)? I’m currently in FP&A and looking to work at a Big 4, or another company that offers the ability to move abroad. My current company and many others I know about do not offer the mobility to do so until much later, which is not what I want. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.
