I am a Level 2 Claim advisor with 10 years in TD Insurance. I am feeling a burned out due to a heavy workload and not feeling a appreciation in spite of a pulling cart of team and delivering a risk free quality results more than team average. I only getting paid the same. Only reason I am being treated as I made some mistake giving some honest feedback in from of constructive criticism and now I am not having "BLESSINS" to apply internal opportunity for growth.

Any Advise?

Honestly, I would look at other companies just to see what’s out there. It doesn’t sound like they appreciate you, and you won’t grow if they won’t let you apply for other roles internally. It doesn’t hurt to gather offers and see what else is available.

Seems like the only thing you are losing is the lack of support and growth. Starting over is never easy, but if you see a better path forward somewhere new, that’s something to highly consider.

I am also planning to switching employer with same pay as I am at higher capping of this role (as they did not let me grow professionally ). I am going to lose indirect perks that were earned with a 10 years of services.

Is this a correct move for a fresh start?

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I have been talking to a recruiter for a little over a month about a position. I let her know out the gate that I really wasn’t looking to change jobs, but she just kept wanting to continuing the conversation. I didn’t have 2 interviews with the hiring coming and they know that I am not really looking to make a switch. They are now working on an offer letter and I know they’re going to offer me more money. I’m having my annual review this week. Any advice on how to handle a) job offer b) review?
