I am a PO/ PM, and I have been applying for PM roles for sometime now. Not doing both again and I think I want a PM role now. Lack deep budget experience.
I have not received a single call back. How did you find your current PM role?
Should do something more than just identifying roles on LinkedIn, making appropriate resume changes before submitting, connecting with recruiters, etc.
I am hitting a wall here. The "one" thing the PM has to do is identify the problem. I do not know what it is!!

At the moment i manage a team of 5 industrial designers for b2b sustainable fashion and retail interiors. The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical. Do all PM interviews have case study and strategy questions? Have you had an interview where you weren’t presented with them? I have two panel interviews with the same company coming up and was just curious!

I’ve don’t pretty good so far…given multiple roles, pay increases etc. Honestly I don’t enjoy my job anymore and would like to make a change. I’m working a internal consulting type of cost engineer role and is seems like a good position to gain skills in that could apply to becoming a PM in the future. I have also worked in design engineering and engineering analysis roles. Have a BS in mechanical engineering and a MS in Data Analytics Engineering.
