All I know is there is a special place in hell for people who schedule 8:30am meetings.
That’s how I feel about meetings past 4:30pm lol
10am to 12pm. I am not the type to schedule any meetings before 10am. My brain needs to wake up lol
I agree with PwC 1. People who schedule meetings at 8:30am should be exiled, because they are cruel.
10 am - 12 am
I think 9am meetings are great. Show up, briefly prepare and knock it out before I am in the middle of today’s emergency
Im in the office anywhere from 6am to 7am. However, I never schedule meetings before 10. Not everyone is a morning person and I respect that. Gives me time to plan my day.
EY 5 I’m in bed by 9:30 at the latest every night and get to the office (or client if I can) by 7 each day. During non-busy season this also means I typically leave by 3:30 and everyone freaks out which I find hilarious.
I used to work for a partner that consistently scheduled internal meetings at 7:30 am. Hated that sob.
I remember at one point our practice decided to move all internal meetings outside of business hours so that we could focus on client work during that time. Didn’t last long though. I think a bunch of irritated partners didn’t bode well for business.
Had someone schedule an 8 am meeting for the next day after 6 pm the day of. When I showed up the next morning I found out the meeting had been canceled at 7:38 am. Wtf.
Anything after 8. That’s what coffee is for
Before noon
I get annoyed when anyone contacts me or schedules meetings outside the hours of 9-5. That doesn’t mean I don’t work outside those hours. I catch up on work and draft emails ect, but I wait until the next morning to send them! I just feel like it’s common curtesy. I don’t need everyone to know I was doing work at 10pm and to be bothering them when they are in bed. Unfortunately many people don’t return this curtesy. My phone buzzing at all hours of the night with totally unnecessary and not urgent emails. PEOPLE just because you are working at 11pm doesn’t mean you need to email the whole team then. Just because you like to get into the office at 8am doesn’t mean thats an acceptable time to schedule a meeting either!! Let’s keep these types of things within standard working hours please
8am-12pm
Nothing before 8:30. 7:30/8 only in fire drill circumstances. ~Central
Everyone in this thread doesn’t want to work until 8 but I’m stuck with regular 6 or 7 am business.
