Hello Fishes,
Has anyone got call from management regarding back to office? My base location is Bangalore and management seems to be in progress of calling employees back to work approx after 18th April.
Does anyone have any idea what's the management decision about back to office? Is it confirmed or still planning?

Is it a red flag if they’re an associate?

What do you find attractive about the PM role? Do you like people? You'll be talking with a them a lot, and telling many of them no often. Do you like writing user stories and pruning backlogs? Does the idea of trying to coordinate work and schedules between developers, designers, marketing, and stakeholders excite you?
Maybe the answer is yes to these - and if so, my typical recommendation is to start by playing a Business Analyst role which can often be like a Jr PM and get you some good exposure.
But if it's just because you want to steer the product decisions or hear it pays a lot, think hard. You may not like it.
