I had an interview with Cognizant and then got an email from HR to fill in CIS form and also along with to send all the documents. After i send all those details i got an email saying the position went on hold and to wait until they revert.
Any idea that how much time it would take for the position to be released? They did not respond when i asked the same question.

Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

Try to look at startups that could leverage your background. I would also have realistic expectations as there are already a lot of people currently in tech shuffling around looking for jobs. Definitely big oversupply of UI/UX designers. I would put in your portfolio some examples of how you would redesign digital experiences for some well-known consumer apps to make them more intuitive. Industrial design is going to be very different from tech product management, so I would try and move to UI/UX design first
In tech “UX” and “Product” Designer pretty much mean the same thing. Graphic design can still be a bit hard to pivot to UX design. Physical design, I’m not sure as I’ve only worked on software products. I would say you could try pivoting by going to an e-commerce company, maybe first as a physical designer and then shifting over to the e-commerce, then moving over to full software if you want
