I’d like to know what are the growth opportunities like in a role? Anyone else start in this position and moved up? Or do people typically stay in this position? What does pay look like for someone in this role with more experience?

How should I list software skills on my resume that I have familiarity with but aren’t highly skilled in? For example, used R in one class, but wouldn’t say I’m an expert. Or used Salesforce for an internship- but just to edit lead sources for new logos? Have heard to put “novice” next to these skills? How should I format that?

I was laid off in June. Most consulting companies are on a hiring freeze that I’ve talked to. It’s pretty hard on my psyche to not get down on myself. Anyway the developer will be working in API, service logics,UI or POC kind of things right. Developed carpal tunnel in law school and I think it’s affecting my weight lifting. I wear lifting gloves to help with my grip (and sweaty palms) but even with those, I still find myself struggling to not drop the bar/dumbbell after holding onto it for more than 10-15 seconds, even when the weight isn’t very heavy. My trainer says I also have knots in my wrists and palms and even when he’s massaged them out, I still struggle with this. Any tips on how to fix it? Should I try wrist straps?

The methodologies and processes are quite similar between physical and digital design so i feel i should not start from a junior position, however my portfolio contains only physical.
