I had Silver on United and status matched from Delta Gold to United Gold
Maybe make a new account, then status match to that?
I have the same delta plat and united silver. Marriott plat too? Haha
A1- can you merge accounts after? If so that's a good idea
I think you can, heard of delta diamond to united 1k match before
They sometimes run promos to status match, but if they're not running one, you might just wanna call and chat with a rep

😂 you're right. I would just make new mileageplus account if you haven't already racked up miles on United.
If you have, give them a call... It would be crazy to deny you.
if you know someone with very high status, screenshot their status and Photoshop your name on it. I was matched to 1k using someone's executive platinum status on flyertalk.

And then I originally got rejected because I attained my Delta status through a promotion so I reapplied when I legitimately reached Gold and United matched

If you get rejected does it count as your 'you can only match 1 one every 5 years'?
Did your status show how many miles and segments you had flown when you showed your delta status? If they knew the statuses of customers with competitors, they'd openly offer the challenge/matches.
No I didn't show miles/segments but it did say valid through August. So maybe that's how they knew?
