Any Diwali Gifts EY GDS use to give every year?
Promotion list is out! EY
Is EY GDS is in GUJRAT LOCATION??
See considering you are at staff 3 or 4 and will get promoted to senior 1 and will get decent hike too
But do you think you would get 70 percent hike to match IBMs offer ?
Btw on that note IBM won't give much of yearly hikes once you join assuming you got band 7 in IBM ... next good hike in IBM would be with promotion which could take years
I would suggest use that IBM offer as an counter offer and try applying for other big4s as well
Thank you for the response. Currently I am doing it. So what do you suggest I should ask my CTC as if I am joining other organisations using IBMs offer as counter?
Even if they promote you with a 5 rating which is the highest rating in GDS it will not touch 17 LPA my suggestion will be you take the offer from IBM and stay there for a few years then you can try the boomerang tactic to come back to EY with even a higher package or maybe you will get better opportunity somewhere else. The only drawback is IBM provides single digit hikes every year so within a couple of years your salary won't increase that much. Job market will grow slowly for the rest of the year and maybe it will stay like that in the next year as well take the 70% hike and move to IBM atleast you will be financially free if the recession hits hard
Even I wonder how it works
Hi
Just a suggestion from my side. Stay back and collect the hike and bonus that EY gives and then try for other companies in the month of October.
Just collect all your amount without leaving for them on table. Even in October you can apply for companies and get even good hike on the hike that EY gives in september
My suggestion would be stop looking for job change until September 30. You can start hunting after that using the hike letter from EY.
Anyway it’s personal choice in the end.
