I am having recruiters call my office phone. 😳 Is this happening to anyone else?

I called that guy back. He told me that he is from a recruiting agency and he wanted to see if i am interested. I got so mad that at that instant and told him not to f***** call back or I will sue.

Most agency recruiters are too desperate to get anyone apply for a job. A sincere recruiter reaches out by email or LinkedIn now a days and start a polite conversation.

Its just they are jeopardizing the current job we have for their benefits (2/2)

I told the one who called me to remove my number off the list and hung up. They just added me to LinkedIn. I’m starting to get harassment stalker vibes.

Yes. It has happen to me few times. One time i was on vacation and the call went to general office number the recruiter told receptionist that he called because someone put my name as reference on a job application and he wanted to talk to me. The receptionist emailed my boss and then it came to me.

I got back from my vacation and not knowing that guy was recruiter and my curiosity who put my name as reference i called back.. tbc…(1/-)

Yes, it happened with me too. That's a insane amount of desperation being shown.

After working from home for the last 9 months, I do not want to ever go back into the office. I'd like to stay permanently remote. Advice for bringing this topic up with my manager? I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH. There is talk of bringing everyone back to the office full time and that’s not what I would like to happen. I’ve been searching for a new position in which it would be a remote role. My current company also said I am maxed out in term of what they are willing to pay salary wise.

Diversification is the key. My portfolio includes a bit of most of these.

2. Gold
3. REIT (fractional ownership and distribution)
4. Equity mutual funds (ELSS, direct)
5. Direct equity (India)

I recently had an initial interview for a technical recruiter position. The guy on the phone stated that this is not a 9-5 job and long hours are expected. I proceed to ask how much PTO is offered and he said that is not recommend within the first 6 months of working and the harder you work the more PTO you receive. From that conversation, I saw instant red flags. Any thoughts?
