What is a common salary range for a first year Project Manager at a civil engineering consulting firm? I am looking for positions to possibly lateral to after I pass the PE and want to know what I could be asking for. Also, this would be in a lower cost of living state.

Depends on the company and experience level. I’ve seen anywhere from $75k-105k for beginner-level management roles.

Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. You’d think that since HSV-2 affects 20% of Americans and likely a higher % of gay men, there would be less taboo but it’s hardly ever talked about. Anyone else in my shoes? Or had it disclosed to them?
