I joined EY as a Manager 2 months ago and new to consulting. Leading a project in a new area with 2-3 streams, with no seasoned folks in team. Within weeks they started asking me to own other initiatives saying only project work is not enough. I am still learning about EY, consulting, and work streams in my project while virtually WFH. Not to mention multiple calls/meetings, trainings and other initial tasks.

Not sure if this is the general scenario in consulting/EY. Any tips would be helpful.

Hey all, not to be that person, but I very much struggled and still have my bouts with depression. Going gluten free (strict for months to see improvement) helped me an insane amount with getting rid of my depression and lifting the fog. I still have anxiety but cutting out coffee has helped. I've been in marketing for 7 years and it's been primarily paid social analytics and design at a local agency. I want to expand into the world of SEO, but I know its a complex new world for those without experience. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to start and how you got started learning about the basics of SEO? I want to set myself up with a solid base of knowledge from which to grow.

The creative team is cutting back my content. I’ve explained to them that this will hurt their SEO, but they don’t seem to care. I'm sure they’ll freak out when they see the lack of organic growth.
