I am looking to transition into a non clinical role but I am having trouble breaking into any industry. Currently an NP with two years of ER experience and prior to that was an ER nurse from 2016-2023 before starting as an NP. Any advice, connections, referrals would be amazing. I have two small kids at home and I really want to find something more flexible for my life!

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

One of my frustrations with myself (writing it out here so I can work on it) is that I will print out something that I need, such as a traffic collision report. I will read it without actually reading it. This results in spending time without actually retaining info. Does this happen to anyone else? I’ve found that I can actually focus when I truly force myself, but often this happens after I’ve discovered an error or an important piece of information that I should have noticed earlier.

Offer letter mentioned recovery of joining bonus if separation before 1 year. If i resign now ,my lwd is beyond 1year since I joined 10 months back. Which date will be considered here? Day of separation filing or actual lwd .
