I am presently a Con-3 at EY with a package of 14L with 3 years of experience (total 4.5 years exp IT). I am working in IT Audits - SOC 1/2. I see that my friends at software development already earning north of 20L. My friend's immediate postion is easily 30LPA, while in big 4s managers themselves get only 30LPA fixed.

Do we, people from IT Audit every catchup with Software people. Experienced professionals please provide the insights.
