I have 9years of experience in identity and access management and now planning to move into IT Auditing and persued my ISO 270001 certification and I also have sound knowledge of itgc controls..Can you please advise in how to move in IT Auditing from IAM (La Audit)...

Anyone move over to a portco role at a more senior level? Positive or negative experience?

Is the CPA designation worth it? For me it would take me 1 year of PREP courses and 2 years of PEP until i can write the CFE. And I am 27 years old right now. Also wondering if it would be crazy to pursue the CPA while learning how to code to be a developer as well?

Do PE funds have in house tech DD teams? Currently on a tech dd team that’s aligned to PE transactions and trying to figure out what exit opportunities there are. Thanks for your insights!

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

I want to switch now, but I am confused b/w Business Analyst and Automation tester role, which role would be better for me to switch? Also regarding salary which is a high paying role among the two?

I exited to FAANG from big4 and part of me is seriously thinking about getting an mba to go to mbb. Does that make any sense?

Currently an associate at a mid-sized firm with “strong potential” to make partner at the end of this year. Things have been toxic for a while, but have cratered in 2021, with few signs there will be any positive changes on the horizon. What are the pros and cons of staying to make partner before trying to go in-house? I’d assumed it would be better to job search with that title on the resume, but am rethinking my assumptions the worse things get.

Will he have to serve the 60 days notice period. Also on the experience letter or anywhere else after the release this PIP or negative remarks be there.

Will it affect his futher employment in other firm.
