I applied for a job on 3/31/24. Had a phone screening on 4/12-went super well, really hit it off with the individual I chatted with. I had another interview with the position's manager on 5/3-super technical interview that went well. I had the final panel interview on 5/16-best interview of all three. I still haven't heard anything. Followed up and got back a "Thanks for your email, we are still in the process of reviewing final candidates' profiles. We'll circle back when we can". Help!

Is a “coffee chat” the same as a first round interview for on-cycle recruiting right now?

I had a first interview last Tuesday with Amazon, which I think went well, although I still haven't heard back 6 days later and then got an OOO annual leave msg and a no response when I chased up the named colleague today. Is this typical behaviour others have experienced when dealing with the big tech company recruiters? I found Google and Facebook recruiters to be efficient and TikTok so-so, if not a little slow, but 6 days+ seems poor.

I’d love some advice on recruiting in China, Japan, Korea and Singapore. In the tech industry and for sales / tech roles. Insight into cultural nuances I’d need to be aware of and how recruitment strategy differs (ie WeChat vs LinkedIn) would be fantastic - thank you!

Once you’ve applied via referral link to a position, does it keep you in a referral pool or do you need to constantly get a new referral link if you apply to another role say 4 months later? Curious since they only last 30 days and i feel bad asking for a link a 3rd time now…..
