Don't be a nuisance and don't sit still waiting for a response. If you haven't found a position since submitting an application, check back in two weeks to determine if the role is still vacant or has been filled. Then keep filing applications. In all truth, once you submit an application or sit for an interview, you've done all you can in that process. It's up to the agency with the job to follow up with you, not the other way around. In the job market, no news is bad news.
Appreciate it thanks
My general rule of thumb is to wait 1 or 2 weeks, try to find the appropriate person to reach out to and then ask them if there are any updates or anything else I need to do. Easy part is applying, the hard part is playing the waiting game afterwards!
