After Appraisal, company haven't shared updated offer letter (with new salary), it's been 2+ months now.
If I start searching for new job, will that HR ask about recent offer letter? Or only salary slips are enough?

I think the biggest thing that could potentially hold you back is in PA there is a lot of turnover so it is a pretty clear path to senior manager/ director. In industry depending on the size of your department people may not leave and create opportunities for upward mobility. This isn’t always the case but does happen to where your career path to manager isn’t as defined.
Just learn what you need then job hop.
Maybe but not necessarily

It really all depends on you. Going to have to be willing to jump for progression if you stall out
It depends on where you go, I left to industry as an S1 then bounced back to B4 in an advisory role a year or so later and was making over double what I was an audit S1.
I think B4 public accounting mitigates risk and reward, it raises people who are average to above and drags down amazing people to above average. Very broadly speaking.
