I completed 4 rounds of interview and then a HR discussion on salary back in December. Few days back I again got a call from HR regarding some additional details of my current compensation. And then now they have sent me invite for another round stating “fitment” round. Really confused what’s going on. Anyone have some idea if this is the normal process?

Seeking feedback on GAP insurance. I had a family member who purchased a car in June or July. They were in an accident last week and it sounds like the car will be declared a total loss. I've recieved an offer from Morgan Stanley, my previous salary was around 6 Lpa and last offered was around 15 Lpa (WFH), I quoted 40 to 45% on top of that around 22 Lpa considering Mumbai location, WFO and Glassdoor pay range.
Did I just do a mistake by quoting too high a number? Please let me know your opinions.
