Exploring roles is the only way to definitively determine what makes you happy. I would advise some caution though. Law firms, especially those in the same field, can be a close community and people do talk to each other. Make sure whatever you do (if in the same field) is in confidence.
I appreciate your advice, you're definitely right. My city is hosting a job fair soon. I want to attend it to see if any law-related or JD-preferred positions could be a good fit, but I'm nervous about being caught!
yes definitely!! The job market is broken and has been for a while... I would start your search now as it may take some time to get noticed. You definitely want a role secured before leaving the law firm. Doesn't hurt to have a browse at new opportunities :)
