Only saw that working for government contracts. It won’t matter as much if they do “flex time” or if you’re a boss. Otherwise you might regret it once we all go back to the office.

I’m never going back to an office thankfully. And the pay is way better. But it’s just so strange to me.

I had a job at a bank that was like that. 19 days is NOT generous.

If the job offer is strong aside from the PTO days, you can try asking for more. They might be able to match your previous job or other offers. I've been able to do this for all jobs I've had.

So in my first organization my last working day was 23rd oct 2017 and for my 2 nd organization my joining date is 25 sept 2017....these dates are overlapping because my 1st organization had vacation concept(bench without pay)..... So i served notice period there and my second organization asked me join immediately. Will this overlapping affect my bgv in wipro? Everything is genuine. Any suggestions?

Senior, pregnant and worried about busy season because half the seniors in my practice quit in the past two months. Directors have said to seniors “brace yourself”. I am already stressed and high risk and off my ADHD meds and struggling a lot to get work done. Is it worth taking maternity leave early and “screwing over” my teams? I feel guilty. Doctor suggested to take medical leave if I am struggling. Need advice 😢

So I picked up a good project from another teacher group. A teacher assigned a random project to her students in which they had to show her a project they did during this time: a meal they prepared from scratch, a new hobby, etc. She was blown away by what they had been doing- murals, knitting, DJ set ups. The kids will be all right :)

Been getting approached by multiple recruiters for boutique consulting firms, and salary expectations never seem to align (mine are too high). I’m an experienced A in S& up for promotion fairly soon, which is why I benchmarked my salary expectation to SA level (140k base - even gave a slight discount there). More details: I’m happy where I am, with no great desire to move. Should I generally be setting lower expectations? What would your considerations be?

I’m 4 rounds into the interview process for an Assistant Controller position in SoCal. For the next round, I’ll be meeting with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and 5 other junior accounting staff. I’ll have 30 minutes to explain a month-end close task (of my choice) to the accounting team. Also, I’ll have to analyze a random reconciliation and explain improvements that can be made. I’m just a 2nd year manager, so I’m getting so nervous, and any insight or tips would be appreciated!
