Water…. Can you go for walks… buy karaoke machine and sing them your favorite songs… throw a lil two step in there, vitamins minerals, probiotics… treat your self to something nice like a pedicure… self love, epson baths, be honest with them . Tell them hey , I have osteoarthritis.. I’m going through menopause, but I want to be involved with your life so as a group come up with one thing your can all do together at least once a week. I am having a hard time with menopause myself , so I have no advice beside tell them your in menopause and these are the side effects . Kids are smart tell them you love them at all times . Maybe like wear matching shirts and go to dinner one day. Take care of yourself. Get regular dr visits, and just do the best you can do . Don’t be hard on your self. If possible avoid stress. And check your vit d levels mine were critically low one time and I felt horrible, no energy at all . Just most important, be kind to your self, water, walks are great , do things that make you happy .
It’s counterintuitive, but exercise (even taking a short walk once a day helps). Also eat well, get your vitamin levels checked, lay off the caffeine, drink water. I’m 53 and have two autoimmune conditions and an 11 yo still at home — most days I could fall asleep by 5 pm. If I follow my own advice, it’s better.
If exercise hurts your osteoarthritis too badly, try gentle stretches.
I’m sorry you’re going through this. ❤️
I had low iron (not so low to be anemic) at one point in mid late 40s and omg I was so tired I couldn’t function. I’ve improved diet. Some exercise. Lots of water. Makes huge difference
Thank you!
