I did it!!! I left advertising to work with my friend at his recruiting firm. This advertising thing I spent the last decade doing was a dream that twisted into a nightmare. One day I came to the conclusion that there were so many things I’d rather do for far less money. I started listing them: a welder, a bartender, I even longed for my days at Gap. I had a behavioral interview with a manager from another team and a case study with the hiring manager. They both took notes as I gave my answers but the first manager was very disinterested from the get go and was distracted as he kept looking away from the screen.
