I did the REG exam today and here are my observations:

First, a disclaimer that i did both Uworld and Surgent CPA. Surgent was much closer to the real exam.
MCQs - very plain words and very basic concepts were tested. Very easy on law and ethics. Know your basics!
Sims - tax return heavy, type “fill in the number”. Personal tax return, corporation tax return, for/from AGI, tax to books difference (very heavy), asset basis, MACRS

Almost nothing on DRD, partnerships, contracts, and bankruptcy.

I’m in big law and on the cusp of making the jump to in-house. It sounds like the company I just interviewed with is getting ready to make me an offer. It’s definitely going to be a pay cut coming from big law but I do get some nice equity in the company. Is the jump worth it? I’m so burnt out by big law and this seems like an awesome opportunity to help shape a newish company. Any tips on how to figure out if this is the right move for me?

I'm not good at my tech stack. I've somehow managed to perform all my tasks without any escalation/blunders but that also by some help/googling.
I also managed to switch from an Indian mnc to a reputed company and now also somehow cleared a FAANG interview, but i know I'm not much knowledgeable in my tech .

I often fail at some interviews badly.
Not sure till when I'll be able to carry forward by this and the hard wlb at FAANG companies is giving me a fear.

Most of the projects I've taken on, I've done so as a way to support others without taking much credit for it.
