I feel like I’ve been seeing this happen a lot lately and want to hear y’all’s take. Recruiter posts role looking for Mid/Senior creative. Someone I know (or myself) interview for said role and realize the salary isn’t aligned with what the agency is asking for. Role goes unfilled for weeks. Recruiter posts a new role looking for junior creatives despite no one new being hired.
I get that agencies always want to pay as little as possible but this can’t be sustainable.

There’s no reason you have to put up with a job you hate. I spent many years working in a toxic environment with a boss who gossiped and lead through fear. He wasn’t really much of a leader but basically a foreman. And he could make my existence miserable. I admit that it wasn’t easy to find another job but the bottom line is: trust your guts. If you feel something is wrong it’s because it probably is. Don’t second guess yourself. Look for options and and fight for your mental health.

Our new social media specialist is using Canva to create posts and forgoing the work created by the design team.
