Hello everyone! I'm looking for an entry level Product Manager role at a Tech company. Currently I'm working at Cognizant as a Programmer Analyst Trainee Intern and will be graduating next month with a major in Computer Science. If there's any opening for Associate Product Manager in your org., please let me know!
I've been a team lead for multiple national level hackathons, built UX Designs, wrote PRDs, and learning more about PM.

I recently applied to the Content Designer, 2023 Graduate remote role at Atlassian and I'd appreciate it if I could get a referral.
Here are some details to aid in your decision-making:
- Last summer, I worked at Google as a UX Content Design Intern.
- I am currently in a grad program at
NYU and will graduate in Spring 2023.
- Before graduate school, I spent 3+ years as a Copywriter in Advertising.
I'd really appreciate any recommendation I can get at this time.
I’m about to start an internship at IBM for UX Research. I’m super excited about it, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about the design culture there or how the company is for designers? So far online I’ve only heard about the company from consultants or software engineers. For more reference I’ll be working in Austin.
Best engineering internship?

Exploit the fact that you’re young (assuming you are). $10 says your strat director knows nothing about e.g. tiktok and is too exhausted to come to grips with it (yes I’m projecting). Make yourself an expert in how it works and how to commercialise it. Tell them that’s what you’re doing, and let it be known that you’re the person to go to for anything related to that thing.
The fact you’re asking this question and already doing what you’re doing tells me you have a bright future ahead. Get in touch!
What BS1 said.
Other than that just go above and beyond even if it’s little. For example, when I was an intern my first project was to compile a spreadsheet of B2B print magazine rates for a sub brand of one of my agency’s clients (riveting stuff). It was a slip resistant work shoe so super niche. In trying to figure out what kind of magazines would make sense I did a lot of research about slip resistant footwear and who it pertains to. In addition to the rates I made an info graphic with all the stats I came across. Found out 4 years later, on my boss’s last day, that the little extra went waaay further than I could’ve guessed. She had forwarded it on to the entire rest of the team to brag about how great her intern was etc. it honestly wasn’t anything special but it showed I gave a shit and wanted to contribute. Needless to say I got a job there at the end of the internship.
Is there any research for thought leadership pieces you can help with? Or my research / α presentation on something that will help school the team or agency at large - eg a lunch and learn on tik tok. Maybe ask what kind of projects would be helpful for you to work on to add value to the department and cite a few examples as thought-starters. Also; kudos to you to being proactive and asking all the right questions.
Thanks! I’ve been giving ‘lunch and learn’ type presentations every other week that people seem to like, but love your idea for thought leadership.
I’ve already been sending out newsletters, trends decks, etc. but would love to hear any ideas or thoughts of what I could do with my extra time.
Go deep where others on the team can’t or won’t. Or find a way to communicate really essential information for an account in a simple way.
There’s always some random thing I want to learn more about or feel I should brush up on but don’t have time to pursue.
Thank you all for the thoughtful replies!
