At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon
Also how technical a background does someone need for a Technical Program Manager role?
What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

I built (well, Claude built) a spreadsheet cleaning tool. One of our teams submits CSVs a certain way, another requires them to be formatted differently. As the middle man, reformatting them is my responsibility and a huge time suck. I finally got around to creating a project specifically for this, and it's been a gamechanger for me. I just drop the data in, Claude reconfigures it per the receiving team's reqs and I send it out. Takes 2 minutes when previously it was 15-20 minimum.
Why not ask Claude to create a VBA for you? Also, ask to create a refresh button with it. With that, you wouldn't even require going to Claude every time.
Love it!!
Me too! Extra 30 mins for me to have my coffee in peace!
Took a job 6 yrs ago with promises of a support team that never materialized so over the last 3 yrs or so I built an end to end automated system that allows internal customers to fill out a form that notifies me of a new inquiry, creates a new pre-populated task card on my digital kanban board and syncs all my updates to those cards each night to a dashboard for internal customers and mgmt to view status/progress. Has saved me sooooooo much work and now other depts are asking how to do similar for themselves. 😂 I just say "Hire me, I'll build you a system!"

I love that feeling. I have had moments like that where a small automation saves time forever and it feels like a real win.

I’ve done some automation as well recently that saves me an hour monthly. Also doesn’t utilize AI, it’s just a script I could have done years ago! It’s a good feeling but can get scary if there’s to much automation.
Only when the trouble starts, when one automated task feeds onto another automated task and on to another task and something breaks in between!
