I suspect that you didn't put a lot of work into the 400 words that were available on the LBS for you to discuss EACH of the 4 jobs you had over the past several years.

Also, LBS wants to understand not only why LBS is a good fit for you (what will you take?) but also why YOU are a good fit for LBS. What will you bring? How will your presence enhance the experience for your peers.

I spoke to someone a few days ago who had no idea that there were 'essays' in the application itself. If you did those the night before you submitted, you probably fell short.

Just as I say to folks who have a 660 GMAT, you are MORE than your test score. Having a 760 doesn't guarantee you anything. What do you offer if you take the 760 away?

Also, LBS isn't in the 'arms race' for presenting a high GMAT score for their class profile. They don't 'compete' in the rankings of US schools (e.g. USNWR, Bloomberg Business Week) so just want to have confidence that you are capable of doing the work in their program. For that reason, a 760 doesn't 'help' you in the same way it would for a US school that wants to maintain a 730+ GMAT average.

What this tells me is you got marked down for one or multiple/all of the below:
- essays
- mini essays (these are important despite people thinking otherwise)
- recommendation
- engagement with school

Work on those and you’ll get an admit
