I have been selected at citi but HR is unable to release offer letter. This is because I have worked for citi as contractor or consultant in past but I don't remember my SP ID or GP ID which Citi provides to its temporary employees. HR is checking my SP ID or GP ID which was allocated to me in the past but I don't recall it is. HR is checking this with US team and this process is taking time. If they cannot extract it due to some reason, will they release my offer letter? Please clarify this.

Confession: The only in-law that I had a great relationship with passed away unexpectedly. I have a new direct report who’s at producer level and needs a lot of hand holding. I’ve been her manager for 6 months and she has yet to do anything without me telling her. Like at the start of a project she doesn’t immediately meet w creatives, work on costs/budget etc. She’s self described as ‘shy’ but doesn’t take initiative. She needs help responding to emails.
