I want to join Birlasoft but not sure if they will give me same profile because IT Companies after joining change projects sometimes. Any suggestions from Birlasoft or Genpact employees. My domain is in Oracle Apps Technical (Genpact ). Birlasoft it is PDH( MDM) cloud version. CTC offered :- 16.5 + 1.85 + 50k(Birlasoft )
Genpact :- 21 LPA.
How much hike did you guys get this year?
Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Sounds decent, but I guess it depends on your location too. So, if you want to pursue certifications. If you are getting your degree in safety you can go for the CSP (certified safety professional) it’s the best certification out there.
If you want to get into construction there is a CHST certification. If you want to do more with industrial hygiene the OHST or possibly the CIH. If you are in the utility business you could try the CUSP.
Got it, thank you for the advice! So those are the goals I have in mind to work towards, starting with the CHST. Once I complete my safety degree, I will pursue my ASP & CSP. Thanks again, much appreciated!
That’s a pretty good offer. Is it a regular 40hr work week or are working nights and weekends? For a start I’d say that’s pretty good and with 3 to 4 years you can expect a good bump in pay.
Additionally, I was an active safety volunteer during my 7 years in Operations & Quality. This led to my pursuit for a career in Safety.
