With a degree and little experience, you could shoot for 55k?
If I had it to do all over again, I would go into safety but specialize in certain things like industrial hygiene, process safety management, ergonomics. It’s great having a broad safety background but I find people aren’t overly competent in those areas.
You can easly shoot for 80k with a asafety degree and a GSP. I got both my undergrad and graduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University amd after i graduated, i automatically qualified for the Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP). There are other schools that offer the same after graduation, just have to check on the BCSP website.
