I got hired as a consultant (wohoo!!) again and am looking forward to the grueling traveling hours. When I was in my former city I used to use Delta to get around but here it seems like I should go for either United or AA. Which do you all prefer and use? I have had bad experiences with United but that may just be a few.

AA and UA can both be trash. Wait to see where you get staffed and go with the one that has an easier status challenge.

like

M1 is right. AA and UA are basically interchangeable, imo. I prefer UA because they have had better timings and nonstops for my destinations. Pick based on yours.

like

Everyone says United bc it’s a hub here but I hate them so much so I fly AA if I can

like

American has Chicago as a secondary hub. Not as many flights as UAL but it’s a LOT.

AA has a hub here. Has everything you need

Beginner here. I'm trying to use my points to buy a flight to Puerto Rico. If Delta costs me 55k points on my Amex (valued at $600 per Points Guy), versus United which costs me 60k points (valued at $700), shouldn't I still just go with the Delta cause I'm spending less points?

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?
