I don’t think so, not too many are engaged while interviewing in the first place. They follow script and that’s it. Do you think if anyone paid attention, these questions would not have been reviewed and a new approach would have been used? People are now programmed to answer these stupid questions which should be changed because they create unnecessary stress on applicants. Great interviewers engage with applicants and shine the company culture through the interviews.
Ha! This is an excellent point that I've never considered. Now I wonder too lol
That's an excellent point that I have never thought of. However it should definitely be explored. We're always being told on interviews to not make disparaging remarks about our last employers. Yet when we go through a terrible experience with said toxic employers we're not even allowed to express our feelings about it. I never understood that and frankly making an excellent point like that about toxic managers is something that seriously needs to be addressed because it's very important
Exactly!!!!! This is why we seriously need to address these issues nowadays. Companies nowadays are not very professional in the workplace anymore and they get away with everything. The reason why nobody says anything about it is because they're enablers. They don't even care about doing the right thing anymore because they are a part of the problem instead of being part of the solution. It's past time to call out companies that allow people who treat others with such disrespect. It's time to call a spade a spade
I have wondered this, however it seems like it depends on the company. I have had a few good job interviews where they care, and others that you can tell are reading off a paper.
Rising Star
Oh my god ....you know the interview panel just have a guideline. Sometimes as an interviewee I just give generic answers
